Canine Waste Removal (Sec 3-32d)

lt shall be a violation for any person to fail to remove and dispose of any feces left by his dog on any street, sidewalk, sports facility/field, school property and other grounds, public area or orivat c property which is not owned or occupied by such person ind to not have on their persons a means of removal.

Dog License (RIGL 4-13-4)

Every dog in the Town shall be licensed.

Failure to Vaccinate (Sec 3-34)

It shall be unlawful for any person to own any dog or cat over six months of age that has not been inoculated against rabies.

Confinement of dog in heat (Sec 3-32d)

It shall be a violation for any female dog in heat to be at large or restrained out of doors.

Prohibited in certain places (Sec 3-35)

Dogs, except assisting a blind person, shall not be allowed on the premise of any store or public eating place and shall not be allowed on any Town-operated beach.

Continuous or untimely noise by animals and fowl (Sec 3-4)

No owner of any animal or fowl shall permit an animal or fowl to cause annoyance, alarm, or noise disturbance for more than ten (10) minutes ant any time of the day or night, by repeated barking, whining, screeching, howling, braying, crowing, or other like sounds which can be heard beyond the boundary of the owner's property.

Fines (Sec 3-39)

First offense -$25.00 Second offense within a one year period-$50.00 Third and subsequent offense within a one year period -$100.00 Payment shall be made to the town treasurer by mail or in person, within seven (7) days of the date of the violation
